Four (More) Podcasts To Listen To

I discovered just how awesome podcasts are this year alongside a lot of other people. They make doing things like your commute to school or work, house chores, etc so much more enjoyable. And there's pretty much a podcast for everyone out there. I tend to listen to a mixed list of them; some just for entertainment, some for news, some for knowledge and some for a mix of all three.

I already have a post on four podcasts you should give a shot, now here are four more!

I Said What I Said

Source
This podcast is hosted by two ladies that I've been following on Twitter for a while now and absolutely love. Is it weird to say you love people who don't know who you are? Maybe, but whatever. They're funny and smart which I think is such a perfect combination. When I discovered that they were starting a podcast, I was so elated.

They describe their show as an unsolicited advice podcast. So, they're basically giving their opinion on an array of topics and current happenings. My favourite thing about this podcast is their sense of humour, I find them so funny guys. I feel like this has replaced Loose Talk as my favourite podcast.

Rice At Home

Source
This is hosted by three young people, a lady and two guys. There's this would I say African joke about how when you go out with your parents and you ask them to buy you say Mcdonald's, their response is always "there's rice at home". In essence, why should they spend money when there's already food at home?

If you haven't guessed already, this podcast is about finances and everything related to that. So think personal finance, productivity, entrepreneurship and other things like that. If money management is something you're interested in improving in 2018, maybe you should check this podcast out.

The Skinny Confidential Him x Her Podcast

Source
The Skinny Confidential is one of the most popular blogs out there and has been for quite a while. Lauryn (the blogger) and her husband Michael co-host this podcast and they aim to "bring you some major realness every week"

When I started listening to podcasts, this was one of the first ones I tried and it's still one of my faves. They talk a lot about growing your brand, growing your blog and creating better blog content, fitness and eating healthily and so on. They also regularly invite guests to the show and these guests are usually experts in their selected field. Their newest episode as at the time of writing this post features Dr Dennis Gross, the esteemed dermatologist. I haven't listened to this episode yet but I'm sure I'll be learning a lot of skincare secrets!

The Receipts Podcast

Source
This is hosted by four amazing ladies and I discovered this fairly recently. They discuss social issues such as skin bleaching, relationships, colourism, sexual abuse, marriage and so on. They also have episodes called 'Your Receipts' where they answer questions and dilemmas that are sent in. I love how when they discuss certain issues they don't always agree but they still remain respectful and tolerant of everyone's views.

I listen to all these podcasts on Itunes but they can also be listened to on Sound Cloud. Lauryn and Micahel's own can be listened to on Lauryn's website as well. Thank you for reading guys, what podcasts would YOU recommend?
