It's safe to say that so far in my life, sixth form has been the most stressful experience. The exams I mean. But now that it's all over, I'm a little sad and weepy. I was the same when I finished high school. It's just so sad that everyone is going to go their separate ways after we've spent two years together.I always have separation anxiety when it comes to my friends. Ah well, that's life right?
The pictures in this post were taken by my lovely friend Maram on a school trip to the Manchester Museum of Science a couple of weeks ago. It was such a great day and the museum is amazing. My friends and I are definitely going again this summer to explore properly.
Now that school is over, I've gone back to being myself and following my routine. Started learning my languages again and rejoined the gym. Taking my skincare seriously again. I slacked off so much during the exam season. My skin, hair, diet, everything! I really shouldn't have but to be honest at thet time, I didn't give a shit lol. Anyways, that's all behind me now!
Summer is here and I plan to blog consistently and keep to my schedule. Seeing other bloggers and Youtubers achieve things that they didn't even imagine they could has been so inspiring. I've also missed reading all my favourite blogs so I can't wait to catch up!
I actually finished my exams a week ago but didn't blog because I just wanted to lay in bed and watch Netflix. But I've been idle for a week now and I'm so over it. Time to get busy again.
Lowkey wishing I was in Lagos but I'm living vicariously through my friends' Snapchat stories lol.
I've rambled so much in this post, I'm sorry. Just wanted to let you guys know what's been going on in my life. A lot of sad stuff has happened recently in the world. For example, the bombing at the Ariana Grande concert here in Manchester. Honestly, looking at the news nowadays is so depressing. I just always tell myself that God is in control .
So I got this idea from one of my favourite podcasts ; Loose Talk. I'm going to share with you what I'm watching, what I'm reading and what I'm listening to.
Watching: Season 3 of Jane The Virgin (watching The Best Man tonight, can't believe I've never watched that movie)
Listening To: SZA's Drew Barrymore (always gets me in my feelings) and anything by Odunsi The Engine (his music is so wavy)
Reading: I'm about to start Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner. Cannot wait.
Well, that's it for now guys. Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you in my next post.xx

DeleteI know the feeling of relief after completing exams. And hun, the attack in Manchester was super sad. But I love how the city responded to the barbaric attacks by uniting even stronger than before.
