The first time I saw a picture of Seyi, it was on Instagram. I don't remember how I found her Instagram account but I was so impressed. Not only were her outfits beautiful , but you could just get this aura of a positive and hardworking person from reading her captions at times. I also loved the fact that she replied to all of her comments, every single one of them.

I decided to check her blog out one day and I liked it a lot. I subscribed and I've been a loyal follower ever since. Her outfits are always so beautiful and her thoughts are equally beautiful . Seyi was kind enough to answer a few questions, please enjoy and also check out her blog. xx
When did you start blogging and why?
What's your blog about?
How would you describe your style?
An important life lesson that you've learned
Stop trying to please others. It gets you nowhere.
One place you would love to visit and why
Seyi's Links.
I started blogging after graduating from college back in 2012 and I was looking for a job. It was a hobby for me. An opportunity to just simply share my outfits with the people I knew. I would always be asked where I got things from, so my blog started off as a way to share that information.
In Fashion I Trust is primarily about my daily style. I have since branched out to include more beauty and lifestyle posts.
How would you describe your style?
I would say that my style is a mix between structure and flow. I like pieces that have some asymmetry to them.
Stop trying to please others. It gets you nowhere.
What would you like your blog to achieve?
To be a platform for woman of color to come and get their daily dose of style, beauty, life inspiration, and the real.
One thing you regret buying
I rarely regret buying things lol. If I do, they go right back to the store.
What does self love mean to you?
Accepting every single aspect of who God made me to be. Understanding that I have a mission to fulfill on this earth and that it is going to take my unique talents and unique parts of me to accomplish that mission.
Greece!! It just seems like one of the most relaxing getaway vacations
Advice to newbie bloggers
Stay real. Honestly. Don't try to follow a "formula" to make it. Everyone's path is different. Don't conform. Constantly revamp yourself. Add things. Subtract things. Enhance them. Never stop creating bomb content.
