- Go Out With Friends
Call a friend for a lighthearted chat or meet up with them somewhere. Hanging out with your friends for a few hours and just gisting can help you feel better. It always works for me. Unless of course your friends are toxic and will make you feel worse (in that case, you need new friends ASAP lol).
|This is from last Monday. Went for brunch with|
my friend Nida. It was very heartwarming.
- Retail Therapy
I don't do this often but it does help. Going shopping and buying new stuff can help lift your mood. I'm definitely not advocating that you go to the shops and buy things you do not need . But treating yourself to something pretty can make you feel good. I've realised that the things I buy that make me really happy are books, makeup and home stuff like scented candles and new pillows.
- Read A Good Book
If you're a bibliophile like I am, then this is something you'll love. I like reading a feel good book when I'm down. Nothing too serious or deep, I save those for later. Just something lighthearted and maybe romantic. A feel good book I recommend is I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.
|This is one of my favorite books.|

Now I'm going to share my most important tip; say a prayer and go to bed! Say a prayer because you should cast all your worries to God and go to sleep because you'll almost always feel better when you wake up. For me , this is the star tip lol.
Anyways, have a lovely week guys. xx
