Book Review: Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

Hello guys, happy Saturday!  I love Saturdays because I can wake up late and just relax.
Unfortunately, I can't do a lot of relaxing because I have mock exams in about a week and I still have some stuff to cover.

Before I drafted all my posts and decided to start over, I think I put up two different book reviews and the response was great so bearing that in mind.....here's a new one!  Me Before You is a beautiful book and I cried at the ending. I couldn't put it down even when I was in school and I read it sneakily for a while during my Economics class haha. My friend Chiamaka asked our friend Daniella (her blog is coming soon) to get it for her but Daniella couldn't find it and Chiamaka was quite disappointed because she really wanted it. Her disappointment made me curious, 'what's so great about the book?' I thought to myself.
One day, I entered a charity shop and while wandering around aimlessly  I spotted it on a shelf. I knew I had to get it because I wanted to know why it was so special. I'm so glad I did because it is an AMAZING book. Here's my short review below, don't worry; there are no spoilers.

Year Of Publication: 2012
Summary (from back of book):

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.
What Lou doesn't know is she's about to lose her job or that knowing what's coming is what keeps her sane.
Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he's going to put a stop to that.
What Will doesn't know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they're going to change the other for all time.

As I already mentioned above, I think it is a lovely book and I encourage everyone to read it. I like books that teach me something new and this one didn't disappoint. It was my first time seeing the word: quadriplegic and hearing about a company called DIGNITAS . Don't google the company if you plan on reading the book, it might give you a hint on what is going to happen.

People always say that if you love someone really hard, you know when to let them go. This book is the perfect definition of loving someone enough to let them go. Okay I'm going to stop here. Please please get this book if you can. I know I'm gushing and you might think the book isn't worth the hype but if you are a romantic like me, it'll definitely tug at your heart strings.
Oh and the book is currently being made into a movie and I really hope it'll be a good movie, can't wait to watch it.

Enjoy your weekend! xx.
